Student Welfare and Support Cell

This cell is constituted for the welfare and support of the students for the teaching learning process. In order to support advanced learners there is a special programme named Scholar Empowerment Programme. Remedial Teaching programme will function to support the teaching learning process for slow learners. Also, various activities of the students will be monitored and supported with the help of this committee.

Science Club

A Science Club is an organization formed to encourage students to develop interest and curiosity in science. It provides a platform for students to explore scientific ideas, experiments, innovations, and discoveries beyond classroom learning. Through activities such as science exhibitions, seminars, quizzes, workshops, and projects, the Science Club helps students improve their creativity, critical thinking, and practical knowledge. The club also promotes teamwork, leadership, and awareness about the importance of science in everyday life. It inspires young minds to develop a scientific attitude and contribute positively to society.

Film Club

The Film Club at St Michael's College, Cherthala, is dedicated to bridging the gap between academic literature and the practical world of cinema. It fosters active creation by providing students with a platform to explore their creative potential and develop technical skills in media production and digital storytelling. The club promotes cinema as a vital medium of social and artistic expression through workshops like "CINE CRAFT 1.0" and the production and screening of original student short films. Coordinator: Fr. Liturgy Club

The Liturgy Club at St Michael's College, Cherthala, focuses on customary public rituals for worship (liturgy) and the promotion of art suitable for the Liturgy. The club actively encourages the use of native languages and customs in its practices, supporting the integration of faith with local cultural heritage. AICUF

AICUF (All India Catholic University Federation) is a student movement that works for the growth and empowerment of students in colleges and universities across India. Founded on the values of justice, equality, leadership, and service, AICUF encourages students to become socially responsible citizens. Its motto, “We are born in an unjust society, and we are determined not to leave it as we have found it,” inspires students to work for social change and human dignity. Through various activities, camps, seminars, and social service programs, AICUF helps students develop leadership qualities, unity, and concern for society.
