UGC Sponsored Two-Day National Seminar on Impact of Goods and Services Tax on Trade and Commerce in India (2016)

The Department organized a two-day UGC Sponsored National Seminar on the impact of Goods and Services Tax (GST) on trade and commerce in India. The seminar provided participants with insights into GST reforms, taxation systems, and their implications for business and industry.

The International Conference on Digital Sustainability in E-Commerce was successfully conducted on 12th and 13th March 2026 with active participation from academicians, researchers, and students from various institutions.

The two-day conference commenced with an inaugural session emphasizing academic collaboration, research, and knowledge sharing. Distinguished national and international resource persons delivered technical sessions focusing on contemporary developments, global perspectives, and industry-oriented practices in commerce and research.

More than 30 research papers were presented during the conference, creating a platform for meaningful academic discussions, critical thinking, and exchange of ideas. Participants received constructive feedback and guidance that enriched their research experience.

The conference concluded with a valedictory session appreciating the efforts of organizers, speakers, presenters, and participants. Overall, the programme served as an enriching platform for academic interaction, research advancement, and professional learning.

The Department introduced the M.Com Finance Programme in 2013, offering students an opportunity to pursue postgraduate studies with specialization in Finance.
